Fleurieu Peninsula Railway (N scale): Bugle Ranges

An N scale 'work-in-progress' free-form modular layout incorporating stations of the former South Australian Railways line from Mt Barker Junction to Victor Harbor. Era being modelled is the 1960s. Modules are built to the 'Aus-moN' aspect of the proposed unified 'Australian Free-moN' standard, currently in draft. The Free-moN standard (originated in USA) specifies benchwork, trackwork, scenery and DCC control; it promotes prototypical appearance and operations. Stations included when modelled.

Layout Plan:

Basic modules set (centre module has folding legs). The two outer modules are held to the centre module by strap hinges screwed to the outside edge of the aluminium frame. The lip of the hinge pin is filed off so that the pin can be inserted and removed.
